Care Centers Against Sexual Violence

Audiotheque was tasked with creating the music and sound design in a campaign aimed at encouraging victims of sexual violence and their support figures to seek help.

The campaign included four video spots, where no dialogue was spoken, but the sound design was central to conveying the narrative. The challenge was to create a minimalistic yet disruptive soundscape that reflected the victim's stress and the gravity of the situation, enhancing the sense of alienation. The scenes, set in everyday places like a bus, café, or sports club, became unsettling through the careful use of sound.

In contrast, the two radio spots featured the confidant as the main character, with their voice taking center stage. Here, the acting was crucial as the confidant shared the discovery of the victim’s story. Through subtle sound design, we reinforced the courage of the confidant and the importance of their role in providing support. The campaign was recorded in Dutch, French and German.
